From there you can book a pro instantly for a set time, or request a quote if you'd like a price first. The professional completes the job, you pay securely once the work is done, and then you can leave a review to help other homeowners.
Booking instantly schedules a professional for a chosen date and time and is best when you already know what you need. Requesting a quote lets you describe the job first and receive a price from the professional before you commit, which is useful for bigger or less predictable work. You can chat with the pro through Servfi either way to confirm the details.
Every professional goes through an identity verification step before they can take jobs, and we collect relevant trade details during onboarding. Real customers leave ratings and reviews after each completed job, so a pro's reputation is visible and earned over time. All payments and chat happen inside Servfi, so you never have to hand over cash on the doorstep or share personal contact details to get started.
There is no upfront charge to book. You are only charged once the job has been completed. This protects you as a customer because payment is tied to the work actually being done, not just to making the booking.
You can pay securely by card or EFT through Servfi's payment process. Payments are handled by a regulated payment provider, so your card details are processed securely and are not stored by individual professionals. Keeping payment on-platform also gives you a record of every transaction.
No. Servfi does not hold customer funds. We facilitate a secure payment between you and the trade professional once the job is complete; Servfi is not a bank and does not act as an escrow service or hold money on your behalf.
Creating an account and browsing professionals is free for customers. The price you see for a booking or in a quote is the price for the work. Servfi's service fee is built into the platform rather than added as a surprise at checkout, so there are no hidden charges — you'll always see the amount before you confirm.
Yes. Because you are only charged after the job is completed, cancelling before work has started means you are not charged for the visit. We ask that you cancel or reschedule as early as possible, and let the professional know through Servfi chat, so they can plan their day. Please see our Terms of Service for the full cancellation terms.

Start by messaging the professional through Servfi chat to resolve the issue — most things can be sorted out directly.
